Print: A Bookstore will temporarily close to the public beginning at 6:00PM on March 16th. At this time, it is our intention to remain closed to the public through the end of April and will reassess our and the community needs at that time.
While our doors are closed to the public, we’ll still be here - albeit just one or two of us at a time. We plan to staff our phones, email, and website from 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday. Our staff will be working to fulfill essential business functions such as online and phone orders and do important administrative and organizational work in the store. (Expect both the front and back of the store to be cleaner and more organized than ever before.) We’ll also be working remotely, brainstorming ways to communicate and connect with you, including book recommendations and discussion via audio, video and text on our website, newsletter, and social media platforms. These are things that will not only help us navigate this uncertain time, but will improve Print: A Bookstore in the long-term.
During the coming weeks, please keep the below in mind.
You can shop our shelves from home at printbookstore.com. We have implemented free shipping on orders over $20. We have eliminated our curbside pickup and delivery options for the time being, in order to comply with mandates from local and state government.
The most direct way to support Print: A Bookstore is via the purchase of gift certificates.
We offer digital audiobooks and ebooks for customers that would like books in those formats. Both options appear on book pages on our website, or you can shop them directly here;
We’ll be sending important announcements, book recommendations, and other info via our website, social media channels, and newsletter.
While we will miss seeing you all in person, we want to do what we can to keep everyone safe and healthy. We’ll be here for you - virtually, at least - and will fulfill our mission of getting books into your hands to the best of our ability.
Thank you for your understanding. We’re grateful for your support in this time, and look forward to figuring out how best to support our community and fulfill our mission at this time. Please email questions, comments, and ideas to email@example.com and firstname.lastname@example.org.
With sincere gratitude,
Emily, Josh, and the staff at Print
